Can you upgrade your system with the best 8” Subwoofer?

The low end is where you get the real audio power. You can even feel the rumble in the chest when there is enough bass coming from your system. This is what many people want in their homes. However with the wide range of subwoofers that are available in the market today and in different sizes and specifications, it can be a bit challenging making the right choice.

Upgrading options

In case you have the wired subwoofer that comes with a cable that has the RCA style, there are high chances that it will possible to upgrade the 8” subwoofer. However, if your subwoofer is wireless and has HTIBs or soundbars, then this option is proprietary and it is not possible to upgrade it.

In case you system consist of something that looks like the Bose Cube speakers and the speakers are connected to a sub, there could be processing that goes on inside your subwoofer. It may be necessary to carry out additional research to ensure that it will be able to switch without any issue.

In case you would like to add the sub to the system and you do not have the receiver, soundbar or HTIB that has wired output, there is still a way out for you. There are certain TVs that come with the subwoofer output.

Watts

When selecting the right CT Sounds 8”, there are two key considerations that you will need to consider. These are power and driver size. When it comes to power, there are people who are afraid of the highly powered subwoofers. However, the truth of the matter is that the subwoofer that is made of 1000-watts does not play any louder as compared to the watts that have 100 watts.
The watt rating is just but a rough guide of the loudness with which the subwoofer may manage to play but it doesn’t mean that it must be louder.
